Four Leaf Tax & Bookkeeping LLC was founded in 2010 by Shanyn Smith, a graduate of California State University, San Bernardino, with a degree in Business Administration. During college, Smith worked in an accounting office, gaining hands-on experience in the basics of accounting and tax preparation. After graduation, Smith entered the corporate accounting field, serving as a Financial Director for several medium-sized businesses over the next 20 years. While working as a corporate accountant, Smith also prepared tax returns on the side. After moving to Florida in 2009 and continuing in a Corporate Accountant position for a national sales corporation, Smith officially opened Four Leaf Tax & Bookkeeping in 2010 as a side business, focusing on preparing individual and small business tax returns during off-work hours. In 2017, Smith decided to dedicate 100% of their time to Four Leaf Tax & Bookkeeping, shifting focus entirely to serving individuals and small businesses.
